Valorant measures lines in its own units, so the code is a close translation rather than a copy. Check it in the in-game import preview.

How to make a crosshair

  1. 1 Pick a style. Classic static stays the same size whatever you do; classic dynamic spreads while you move or fire; dot only hides the lines and keeps a centre point.
  2. 2 Drag the sliders and watch the preview. Length and gap decide how much of the target stays visible, thickness and outline decide whether you can still find the crosshair on a bright wall. Flip the background to check both.
  3. 3 Choose a colour. The presets are the ones the games offer; the custom picker writes an exact hex value into both codes.
  4. 4 Copy the block for your game. CS2 takes the share code in Settings, Crosshair, Share or Import, or the console commands pasted into the console. Valorant takes the profile code in Settings, Crosshair, Import Profile Code.

Frequently asked questions

Which crosshair style do pros use?
Almost all of them use classic static in CS2 and the equivalent static lines in Valorant, usually small: length 1 to 3, thickness around 1, a gap of -3 to -1 and an outline of 1 or none. Static matters more than the exact numbers, because the crosshair then never moves away from where you aim.
How do I import the crosshair in CS2 and in Valorant?
CS2: open Settings, go to Game, then Crosshair, and use Share or Import; paste the share code and confirm. Or open the console with the tilde key and paste the command line in one go. Valorant: Settings, Crosshair, then the Import Profile Code button next to the profile list; paste the code and it becomes a new profile.
Why does the colour look different in the game?
Games draw the crosshair over a lit 3D scene, often with bloom and colour grading on top, and your monitor adds its own profile. Brightness and opacity matter more than the exact hue: a lighter colour at full opacity stays readable on both dark corridors and bright skyboxes, which is why so many players settle on green, cyan or white.
What is a T-style crosshair and does Valorant have it?
T-style removes the top line, so the point above the centre stays clear and a head peeking over cover is never hidden. CS2 has a switch for it (cl_crosshair_t). Valorant does not; its code keeps all four lines, so that setting is not carried over.
Dynamic or static?
A dynamic crosshair spreads while you move, jump or fire, which shows beginners why their shots miss. A static one gives you a fixed reference to aim with, and the spread has to be learned instead. Most experienced players go static once they know the weapons; the dynamic style is worth keeping while you are learning.
